The Organic Food Chain Pty Ltd (OFC) is an approved organic certifying body recognised by the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) under the Export Control (Organic Goods) Rules 2021.
OFC is accredited with JAS-ANZ to ISO/IEC 17065: 2013 Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services, to the Organics Scheme (Australia), which commenced in 2023. This scheme operates in conjunction with the DAFF administered National Standard for Organic and Bio-Dynamic Produce.
We are proud to be the first DAFF approved organic certifying body in Australia to hold ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation with JAS-ANZ under the Organic Scheme (Australia).
We are committed to fast, friendly service while ensuring our operators are compliant to the national organic standard of Australia, The National Standard for Organic and Bio-Dynamic Produce, and other international organic certification standards through regular inspections and sampling.

Our Founder, Keith Morris, was a farmer for 40 years and was active in organic certification for 27 years.
Keith’s daughter, Kari Martin, is a Director and has been the General Manager since 2016.
Personalised service
You are important to us and we pride ourselves on personalised service. When you call us, you will speak to either our General Manager or Certification Manager.
No hidden levies
All of our fees are in our fee schedules which can be found here. There are no hidden surprises.
Your annual fee includes annual review of documents, annual inspection & report preparation (up to 6 hours), report review and related certification costs (eg derogations, certificates).
